Children love the castle and Doll and Toy museum. Their pictures tell the story...
Ecole JULES FERRY d'Inzinsac Lochrist, juin 2009.
Guided tours of the castle
You and your students will meet an English speaking guide in the courtyard by the drawbridge. The visit starts with an explanation of the Renaissance facade and the general history of Olivier de Clisson's magnificent mediaeval fortress, before moving inside. You will visit all the public rooms on the ground floor, where you will discover a treasure trove of pictures, weapons, armour and antique furniture which tell the story of the Rohan family for whom the castle is still home.
